Peran Majelis Dzikir Baitul Ma’ruf Dalam Pembinaan Akhlak

Abstract

Dhikr assemblies serve as an important medium of Islamic preaching by enhancing spiritual development while fostering moral character among community members. Through regular dhikr gatherings, Islamic studies, and continuous religious guidance, such assemblies are expected to promote behavior that reflects Islamic values. This study aims to analyze the role of the Baitul Ma'ruf Dhikr Assembly in fostering the moral character of its congregation. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to members of the Baitul Ma'ruf Dhikr Assembly and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques to examine the relationship between participation in dhikr activities and the moral development of the congregation. The findings indicate that the Baitul Ma'ruf Dhikr Assembly contributes to increasing congregational participation in various religious activities, which in turn supports moral development. Active involvement in dhikr sessions, Islamic learning activities, and regular religious guidance strengthens religious attitudes, discipline, social responsibility, and the implementation of Islamic moral values in daily life. The study concludes that the Baitul Ma'ruf Dhikr Assembly plays a significant role in fostering the moral character of its congregation by encouraging active participation in sustained religious activities.
