Abstract

Final-year students often experience various academic pressures, including completing final projects, graduation demands, and uncertainty about the future, which may contribute to increased anxiety levels. One effort to assist students in managing such conditions is through academic and psychological guidance services. This study aims to examine the effect of guidance on the anxiety levels of final-year students at Institut Agama Islam Miftahul Ulum Pamekasan. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to final-year students as research respondents. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistical techniques and hypothesis testing to determine the effect of guidance on student anxiety. The findings indicate that guidance services have an influence in reducing anxiety levels among final-year students. Structured, communicative, and continuous guidance provides support, improves academic readiness, and helps students cope with various pressures during the completion of their studies. This study concludes that guidance services play an important role in managing final-year students’ anxiety and supporting successful academic completion.
