Strategi Dakwah Jamaah Tabligh dalam Tazkiyat Al-Nafs di Masjid PP. Darul Ulum Pakes Desa Panaan Palengaan Pamekasan

Abstract

Islamic preaching is not only oriented toward delivering religious teachings but also aims to cultivate spiritual purification (tazkiyat al-nafs) and encourage behavioral transformation toward a better life. Jamaah Tabligh is one of the Islamic da'wah movements that emphasizes spiritual development through direct engagement with communities, including khuruj, religious gatherings, and continuous religious guidance. This study aims to analyze the da'wah strategies of Jamaah Tabligh in promoting tazkiyat al-nafs at the Mosque of PP. Darul Ulum Pakes, Panaan Village, Palengaan District, Pamekasan Regency. This research employs a qualitative approach using field research methods. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that Jamaah Tabligh’s da'wah strategies in achieving tazkiyat al-nafs are implemented through strengthening faith (tauhid), habituation of worship practices, ta'lim sessions, bayan, musyawarah, and exemplary behavior in daily life. These strategies contribute to developing spiritual awareness, improving worship discipline, and encouraging moral transformation toward more religious behavior. The study concludes that Jamaah Tabligh’s da'wah strategy through intensive spiritual guidance and religious practices serves as an effective approach in the process of spiritual purification (tazkiyat al-nafs) and the development of Islamic character within the community.
