This study analyzes the process of integrating local Islamic boarding school values and global values in the curriculum development of the Islamic Family Law (HKI) Study Program at IAI Nazhatut Thullab Sampang. The focus of the study is directed at three main aspects: (1) the form and mechanism of integrating Islamic boarding school values in the HKI curriculum; (2) strategies for accommodating global values in order to strengthen the relevance of the curriculum to the demands of developments in science, technology, and the dynamics of global society; and (3) inhibiting factors that arise in the process of integrating these two values. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach through interview techniques, observation, and document review, this study found that Islamic boarding school values such as sincerity, humility, manners, discipline, and traditions of knowledge based on traditional books are integrated through course structures, character building, and co-curricular activities connected to Islamic boarding school culture. Global values are accommodated through the development of an OBE-based curriculum, updating contemporary family law materials, utilizing learning technology, and strengthening student competencies in digital literacy, global research, and international standards. This study also identified several inhibiting factors, such as limited human resources who understand the integration of a globally oriented curriculum, cultural resistance to change, minimal technology-based facilities, and suboptimal external collaboration with international educational and research institutions. The findings of this study emphasize the importance of a curriculum model that balances local Islamic boarding school values and a global orientation, so that the Intellectual Property Rights Study Program of IAI Nazhatut Thullab Sampang can produce graduates who are firmly rooted in the Islamic boarding school scientific tradition and are adaptive to global developments.
