KAJIAN SEMANTIK PADA LAGU TIMOR “CINTA LDR LO NAMAFUN” KARYA WANRI TOBE

Penelitian ini menganalisis aspek semantik dalam lagu "Cinta LDR lo namafun" karya Wanri Tobe dengan fokus pada makna yang terkandung dalam liriknya. Dengan menggunakan teori semantik seperti analisis komponensial (Katz & Fodor, 1963) dan semantik kontekstual (Leech, 1981), penelitian ini mengeksplorasi makna leksikal, kontekstual, dan budaya dalam lagu tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lirik lagu mencerminkan dinamika emosional hubungan jarak jauh serta nilai-nilai budaya masyarakat Timor, seperti kesetiaan, pengorbanan, dan ketergantungan pada teknologi modern. Metafora seperti "maufun bae" (memabukkan secara emosional) dan "dag dig dug" (kecemasan) menggambarkan perjuangan dan kompleksitas emosional dalam menjaga komunikasi meskipun terpisah secara fisik. Penggunaan bahasa daerah Timor memperkaya identitas budaya yang tercermin dalam lirik. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya melestarikan warisan lokal melalui kajian linguistik serta memberikan wawasan baru tentang hubungan antara bahasa, budaya, dan pengalaman sosial dalam konteks masyarakat Timor
