Analisis Kesalahan Penulisan Bahasa Arab pada Santri Rumah Qur'an Permata Ilmu Sidoarjo

Abstract

The correct and accurate writing of Arabic in the Qur'an is an inevitable aspect of the teaching and learning process. This also applies to students who study the holy book, such as the Qur'an, in tahfidz groups and religious education institutions, where they encounter difficulties in writing Arabic. This study aims to analyze Arabic writing errors among graduates of Rumah Qur’an Permata Ilmu Sidoarjo by using references to errors found on the internet. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, as it collects Arabic text data from students and compares it to proper writing standards. The results indicate that the most frequent errors involve letter spelling, letter usage, punctuation errors, mandzil letters, and mat tabi’i. Based on the findings, it is recommended to provide more intensive training on Arabic writing rules.
