Diskursus Epistemologi Hadis: Menakar Otoritas Keilmuan dan Transformasi Kemanfaatan Ilmu dalam Tradisi Islam

Seeking knowledge is an obligation that is highly emphasized in Islamic teachings, as reflected in various hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. This article aims to examine the hadiths related to the command to seek knowledge, as well as to explain the motivations and benefits contained therein. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method, namely analyzing relevant classical and contemporary literature. The results of the study show that the spirit of seeking knowledge in the hadith is not only individual, but also has broad social and spiritual dimensions. In addition, these hadiths provide strong motivation for Muslims to continue learning, and emphasize the importance of knowledge as a means of improving the quality of life in this world and the hereafter.
