Purpose – This study aims to formulate a sustainable leadership regeneration framework for da'wah organizations by integrating Spiritual Capital and dynamic capabilities in the form of Digital Agility. The model is designed to mitigate leadership vacancy risks and organizational mission disorientation in the era of disruption.
Methodology – This research employs a Systematic Literature Review, adhering to the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Fourteen primary articles were selected from reputable databases, published between 2011 and 2026. Data analysis involved literature mapping, key finding extraction, and synthesis of variable relationships using thematic coding techniques to build a conceptual model.
Findings – The synthesis results show that Spiritual Capital serves as a foundational pillar that significantly influences the intrinsic motivation and affective commitment of cadres, thereby making it a primary antecedent to human capital development. This study also finds that Digital Agility serves as a crucial moderating variable that accelerates young leaders' readiness to face dynamic environmental changes, although its effectiveness strongly depends on interaction with mature governance systems. Without formal succession planning, da'wah organizations are prone to figure-centric dependency, which threatens the long-term sustainability of their mission.
Originality/Value – This research contributes by integrating transcendental spiritual dimensions with modern dynamic capability concepts into a single, unified regeneration framework, while positioning Digital Agility as a moderator (rather than a primary driver) in the context of faith-based non-profit organizations in Indonesia.
