
Author Guidelines
1. Scope of Submission
Asasi welcomes original and unpublished research articles, literature reviews, and conceptual papers that focus on the field of Islamic Family Law. Submissions should engage with topics such as marriage, divorce, inheritance, guardianship, family mediation, gender and family law, and contemporary legal issues in Islamic contexts.
2. Language
Manuscripts may be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English. Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to have their manuscripts professionally edited.
3. Manuscript Structure
Articles should be written using clear academic language and structured as follows:

Title: concise, specific, and informative (max. 14 words).

Author(s) and Affiliation(s).

Abstract: 150–250 words, summarizing the objective, method, findings, and conclusion.

Keywords: 3–5 words/phrases.

Introduction: background, problem formulation, literature review, research gap, and objectives.

Methodology: research design, data sources, techniques.

Results and Discussion: findings, analysis, and interpretation.

Conclusion: summary of key points and implications.

References: use the latest edition of APA Style or follow the template provided.
4. Formatting Guidelines

Length: 5,000–8,000 words, including references.

Font: Times New Roman, size 12 pt, 1.5 spacing.

Margin: 2.5 cm on all sides.

Citation Style: APA 7th Edition or Turabian (choose based on template).
5. Submission Process
All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online system or via email. Authors must ensure the manuscript is free from plagiarism and has not been submitted elsewhere.
6. Peer Review Process
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. Reviewers are experts in the relevant field, and the editorial team ensures objectivity and confidentiality throughout the process.
7. Ethical Statement
Authors must adhere to ethical standards in research, including:

8. Article Processing Charges (APCs)
Currently, there is no APC for article submission, review, or publication.

Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant Asasi the right of first publication. Articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
