Authors who publish in Asasi: Journal of Islamic Family Law agree to the following terms:

1. Copyright remains with the authors.
   Authors retain the copyright of their work, granting the journal the right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). This license allows others to share and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, with appropriate credit given to the original authors and source.

2. Authors are encouraged to share their work.
   Authors are permitted to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or personal websites) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges and earlier and greater citation of published work.

3. Proper attribution is required.
   When the article is reused or redistributed, users must give appropriate credit to the authors, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. No commercial use is permitted without prior permission.
