
Plagiarism Policy
Asasi: Journal of Islamic Family Law strictly upholds academic integrity and originality. Every submitted manuscript must be the original work of the author(s) and must be free from any form of plagiarism or academic misconduct.
???? Definition of Plagiarism:
Plagiarism includes but is not limited to:

Copying text, ideas, images, or data from another source without proper citation.

Paraphrasing substantial parts of another work without acknowledgment.

Self-plagiarism, or reusing one’s own previously published work without citation or justification.

Submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals (duplicate submission).
???? Screening Process:
All submitted manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection software (such as Turnitin or iThenticate) before being processed for peer review. The acceptable similarity index is below 20% (excluding bibliography and commonly used terms).
???? Editorial Action:

If plagiarism is detected at the pre-review stage, the manuscript will be immediately rejected.

If plagiarism is detected after publication, the article will be retracted, and a public notice will be issued.

Authors found guilty of plagiarism may be banned from future submissions.
